KCCS FRATERNITY LIFE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Brotherhood • Scholarship • Christian Character • Leadership • Service
Under the Leadership of Dr. Tommy Leonard R. Burnett, President, Kingdom Community College and Seminary
WELCOME TO A NEW ERA OF FRATERNITY LIFE AT KCCS!
Kingdom Community College and Seminary (KCCS) is proud to announce the development of the KCCS Fraternity Life & Leadership Development Program, a student-centered initiative designed to promote brotherhood, scholarship, Christian character, leadership, service, academic achievement, and lifelong fellowship.
College fraternities are traditionally student organizations built around shared values, fellowship, leadership, service, and personal development. Many fraternities use Greek letters as part of their organizational identity and establish traditions that unite members around common principles and goals.
At KCCS, our vision is to build a fraternity experience that reflects the distinctive Christian mission of our College while providing students with opportunities to develop meaningful friendships, strengthen leadership abilities, serve their communities, and pursue educational excellence.
We are building more than a fraternity. We are building a brotherhood of educated, disciplined, faith-centered men prepared to lead, serve, and make a difference.

BROTHERHOOD WITH A PURPOSE
The KCCS Fraternity Life & Leadership Development Program will be established around a simple principle: Brotherhood must have purpose.
Membership should encourage students to become stronger academically, spiritually, professionally, socially, and personally. The KCCS fraternity experience will encourage members to support one another through their educational journeys while developing the discipline and character necessary to become responsible leaders.
Members will be encouraged to pursue academic excellence, demonstrate Christian character, respect others, participate in community service, develop professional skills, and represent Kingdom Community College and Seminary with dignity.
The fraternity will also provide opportunities for members to establish relationships that can continue beyond graduation through alumni activities, mentoring, professional networking, ministry, business, and community service.
TWO PROGRAMS — ONE VISION
1. KCCS Fraternity Brotherhood
The KCCS Fraternity Brotherhood will provide an organized student community for qualified members of Kingdom Community College and Seminary. The fraternity will seek to create a positive environment in which students can develop meaningful relationships while pursuing their academic and professional goals.
Members will participate in activities centered around brotherhood, scholarship, Christian faith, leadership, mentoring, community service, professional development, fellowship, health and wellness, and College involvement.
The fraternity may establish student officers, committees, chapters, traditions, ceremonies, community projects, mentoring activities, academic support programs, social events, leadership retreats, and other approved activities consistent with KCCS policies.
2. KCCS Fraternity Leadership Development Program
The Fraternity Leadership Development Program will provide structured preparation for fraternity members who desire to develop their leadership abilities.
Students may receive opportunities to participate in workshops, mentoring, leadership seminars, community projects, academic-support activities, professional development, entrepreneurship discussions, public speaking, organizational management, and Christian leadership development.
The goal is to prepare fraternity members not merely to participate in an organization, but to lead responsibly within the College, church, workplace, family, and community.
FRATERNITY LIFE ON CAMPUS
KCCS envisions fraternity life as an important extension of the student's educational experience. Fraternity members should be visible examples of academic commitment, Christian character, professionalism, respect, service, and leadership.
Activities may include fraternity meetings, academic study sessions, mentoring programs, leadership workshops, prayer and fellowship gatherings, community-service projects, social activities, athletic and wellness events, alumni networking, career development, and approved campus programs.
Fraternity life should complement education—not compete with it. A KCCS fraternity member is first a student. Academic achievement remains a central priority.
SCHOLARSHIP & ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
College fraternity life at KCCS will place strong emphasis on education. Members will be encouraged to support one another academically through study groups, tutoring, mentoring, academic accountability, goal setting, and recognition of outstanding achievement.
Fraternity leadership may establish academic achievement awards, honor recognition, mentoring partnerships, and other initiatives designed to encourage students to complete their educational programs successfully.
Through KCCS's academic partnership with Mount Carmel Seminary and College, students may also explore available Christian higher-education opportunities consistent with applicable admissions and academic requirements.
Brotherhood should help a student reach graduation—not distract him from it.
FITNESS, WELLNESS & BROTHERHOOD
Physical wellness, discipline, teamwork, and healthy living can also become important components of KCCS fraternity life.
Members may participate in organized fitness activities, recreational basketball, intramural sports, exercise programs, wellness challenges, outdoor activities, and other approved athletic events.
These activities are intended to strengthen fellowship while encouraging members to understand that responsible leadership includes caring for the whole person—spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically.
FRATERNITY UNIFORMS, IDENTITY & PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE
The KCCS fraternity may establish an official visual identity that reflects dignity, unity, professionalism, and pride in the organization.
Approved fraternity apparel could include blazers, jackets, polo shirts, sweaters, athletic wear, ceremonial attire, fraternity pins, identification items, and other authorized clothing.
Members wearing fraternity insignia or uniforms will be expected to remember that they represent not only themselves but also their fraternity brothers and Kingdom Community College and Seminary.
Wear the fraternity identity with pride. Represent it with character.
CHRISTIAN CHARACTER & SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
The KCCS fraternity will be rooted in the Christian mission and values of Kingdom Community College and Seminary.
Members will be encouraged to develop their relationship with God, practice integrity, respect others, demonstrate compassion, exercise responsible leadership, and use their abilities in service to others. Prayer, biblical principles, Christian mentoring, fellowship, and service may therefore become meaningful parts of fraternity life.
Our objective is not to require every fraternity member to become a minister. Rather, it is to encourage every member to understand that education, leadership, influence, and opportunity carry a responsibility to serve others honorably.
COMMUNITY SERVICE — BROTHERHOOD IN ACTION
Service will be an important expression of KCCS fraternity values. Members may participate in community food programs, youth mentoring, educational outreach, church partnerships, neighborhood improvement, senior assistance, charitable projects, scholarship fundraising, school-supply drives, and other approved service initiatives.
We want the community to recognize KCCS fraternity members not merely because of what they wear, but because of how they serve.
ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY AGAINST HAZING
Brotherhood must never be built through humiliation, abuse, intimidation, dangerous initiation practices, coercion, or violence.
KCCS will not recognize hazing as an acceptable expression of fraternity membership or brotherhood. All membership education, orientation, ceremonies, traditions, and fraternity activities must be conducted with dignity and respect and in accordance with KCCS policies and applicable law.
True brotherhood builds people up. It does not tear people down.

Founder & President
“Kingdom Community College and Seminary is excited about the opportunity to develop a fraternity program centered upon brotherhood, education, Christian character, leadership, and service.
We believe college fraternity life can become a powerful force for positive development when students are challenged to support one another, pursue academic excellence, serve their communities, and become responsible leaders.
Our fraternity members should understand that brotherhood is much more than wearing the same colors, letters, or uniform. Brotherhood means standing together, encouraging one another, accepting responsibility, demonstrating integrity, and helping each other reach meaningful goals.
I want our fraternity students to graduate from KCCS prepared not only with education, but also with character, confidence, relationships, leadership experience, and a commitment to serve others.
We are building something that can extend beyond the College years. We are building a brotherhood and a legacy.”
