KCCS PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Building a Professional ABA Basketball Team — Developing Athletes, Educating Leaders, Transforming Communities

Under the Leadership of Dr. Tommy Leonard R. Burnett
President, Kingdom Community College and Seminary

Welcome to the New Era of Basketball at KCCS!

Kingdom Community College and Seminary (KCCS) is proud to announce an exciting new athletic initiative: the development of our own professional basketball team for participation in the American Basketball Association (ABA).

This initiative will combine professional basketball ambitions with athletic training, Christian character development, educational advancement, and community involvement.

Our vision is to create a competitive professional basketball organization while establishing a structured development program for talented individuals seeking to improve their basketball skills and pursue future athletic opportunities.

We are building more than a basketball team. We are developing athletes, leaders, and opportunities for the future.

ABOUT THE AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

The American Basketball Association (ABA) is a men's professional basketball league founded in its modern form in 1999.

The ABA provides opportunities for players, coaches, officials, and professional basketball organizations throughout the United States.

According to its official website, the league has more than 100 active teams and operates through four geographic regions: East, Central, South, and West.

Its competition structure includes a regular season, regional playoffs, and a national championship. Real Abaleague

KCCS is developing its professional basketball organization with the goal of securing league approval and participating in ABA competition.

League participation is subject to the ABA's official application, market approval, and team admission requirements.

TWO PROGRAMS — ONE VISION

1. KCCS Professional Basketball Team

Kingdom Community College and Seminary is establishing the organizational foundation for its own professional basketball team.

The proposed team will seek to compete within the American Basketball Association following the successful completion of all league requirements.

The professional basketball organization will focus on competitive excellence, recruiting talented players, developing qualified coaching personnel, building community relationships, and establishing a professional team identity.

2. KCCS Basketball Player Development Program

Our Player Development Program will provide a structured opportunity for aspiring basketball players to strengthen their athletic abilities and prepare for competitive evaluation.

Participants will receive opportunities for organized basketball instruction and development activities as scheduled by KCCS.

The program is intended to emphasize basketball fundamentals, physical conditioning, offensive and defensive skills, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and personal discipline.

Successful participation in the development program may lead to consideration for future team evaluations or tryouts. However, enrollment does not guarantee selection for the professional team.

2. Physical Conditioning: Strength, endurance, agility, and preparation for competitive basketball.

3. Teamwork and Sportsmanship: Communication, cooperation, discipline, and respect.

4. Competitive Development: Structured practice, performance evaluation, and opportunities to demonstrate athletic ability.

6. Educational Advancement: Encouraging participants to explore educational and professional development opportunities available through KCCS.

BASKETBALL AND EDUCATION WORKING TOGETHER

At Kingdom Community College and Seminary, we believe that athletic achievement and education can complement one another.

Through its academic partnership with Mount Carmel Seminary and College, KCCS seeks to encourage athletes to pursue educational opportunities that strengthen their knowledge, leadership abilities, Christian character, and future career prospects.

Participants may inquire about available Christian education and leadership development programs.

Academic enrollment and degree completion are separate from participation in the basketball program and remain subject to the applicable academic requirements.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

"Kingdom Community College and Seminary is excited about the opportunity to establish a professional basketball organization and a player development program that will serve aspiring athletes and our communities.

We believe there are talented individuals who deserve opportunities to develop their abilities, demonstrate their potential, and pursue their dreams.

Our vision is to combine basketball with education, leadership, discipline, and Christian character.

We want our athletes to understand that success is not measured only by points scored or games won. It is also measured by integrity, commitment, teamwork, education, and the positive difference they make in the lives of others.

As we develop this initiative, we look forward to welcoming talented individuals who are prepared to work hard, demonstrate good character, and represent Kingdom Community College and Seminary with excellence.

Together, we can build something meaningful for our athletes, our institution, and our communities."
